In any given year the Hurricanes will field as many teams as the number of interested players and coaching staff will allow. In the event that more than one team is fielded for a given age group we designate each of the teams with a color. (teal, black, or white)
There are no paid staff anywhere in the Hurricanes organization. Each team is self supporting and operates autonomously within the rules of our by-laws. We have a number of fundraisers each year ie: Crabfeed, JLR tournament, and Summer's End tournament. We keep or buy-ins affordable and we keep our team rosters at a number which allows maximum play time for each player. This is not to say everyone plays an equal amount, this is competitive ball, but every player counts. We realize it is a big commitment to be a part of our organization and we want to make it a good experience for everyone involved.
Donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. If you would like to support us as an organization or would just like to make a donation to a particular team please contact Anthony at 707-315-8477. (team level donations can be made directly through a team manager)
A donation of 1 tournament fee per team makes you an official Hurricanes sponsor.
Checks should be made payable to Vallejo PAL Hurricanes.
All donations are tax deductable.
