Welcome to the Hurricanes

The summer season is in full-swing. All 6 of our teams have been practicing and playing hard. We have been scoring runs and winning games. Our teams are strong this year and we are playing better each weekend. Keep up the hard work ladies, it will pay off!

2010 Tournaments

The 11th annual JLR memorial was a great tournament with great games. The wind on Saturday made it interesting but beautiful weather for Sunday playoffs made it all worth it! A huge thank-you to all teams who participated.

Our next event will be the 10th annual Summer's End. We will once again provide "on-time" games on "well-prepared" fields.

Concessions

People were raving about the Quezada's Taco Stand at the June 12-13 JLR tournament. Look for an expanded menu at future events.

Thank You

Former Vallejo PAL softball player Lynette Brown has been providing us with professional quality graphic designs for our tournament logos for a little while now. She hit it out of the park this year. We are asking for you to consider her when you have graphic/printing needs. Check out Poor Ann's Press link on the right.

Thank you Lynette.

Redevelopment

The dream for a newly renovated softball/soccer complex is getting closer to becoming a reality. Vallejo service organizations have voiced support for the project and offered help. Grant applications have been submitted. Monthly steering committee meetings take place at the PAL office on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm. If you feel you have something to bring to the process you are encouraged to attend.
